Wedding Details

"So, how are your wedding plans coming along?"
"How are you guys doing with your wedding planning?"
"Got a place picked out yet?"
"What does your dress look like?"
"Are you have FUN with the wedding?"

I hear these all the time... But honestly, I'm at a point where I don't know what to say. That, or I'm tired of answering.

The ultra-goober-planner in me wants to honestly tell them, "Yes, I actually have EVERYthing planned. Down to what the center pieces look like. My dress is hanging in my closet. My bridesmaid have all their dresses ordered. The place will be gorgeous. The DJ will be awesome. The food will be fantastic, the menu is to die for."

The realist in me wants to tell them, "I'm waiting for Scott's contracting money to come in before EVERYthing is paid. THEN, everything is officially 'planned.' Until then, I feel like I'm at the edge of a cliff."

And the really mean, crazy person in me wants to tell them, "Nope. I'm not even sure where we're going to have it, or what I'm going to wear yet. What do YOU think I should do?"

Heh Heh. I guess there IS a little part of me that still LOVES to mess with people.
