Growing Grapes

Today, I had an amazing amount of energy. FINALLY into the second trimester and I can't do enough "hooray dances" to show you that I am SO glad my energy has returned. And although yesterday I wasn't very productive, today I took advantage of the situation.

With the added boost in endurance, I mowed. I weeded a small section of the garden. I vacuumed. I did some laundry. I went grocery shopping. I went to Target for tioletries.

And after that, I trimmed the grape arbor. And it was tedious work. As I crawled under the long vines, searching for the developing grapes in order to trim the vine, my eyes would itch terribly from allergies. But suddenly in the middle of the job, while I was holding up the vines to search for cut-back areas, there was a moment where I had to stop and smile. The sunlight filtered gently through the leaves, allowing me to experience all the different shades of green that the arbor glowed.

It was an incredible moment in my day, so I'd thought that I'd share:
