For months, I could not eat enough sour things. I craved anything that will make your mouth pucker and your eyes water. This means eating bags of Sour Patch Kids, Sour Gummy Worms, SweetTarts, and even pickles after pickles.
There are many dinners where I'd rather eat gooey, warm grilled cheese sandwiches. Night after night after night.
For two days, I couldn't get enough homemade pea soup that Scott's Oma ('Grandmother' in Dutch) brought over. Mind you, I would NEVER have wanted that when I wasn't pregnant before. Gag-the-old-me type of food.
For a week, I ate Trix cereal for breakfast and snack. In a coffee cup with milk. It was scrumptious and most likely did NOT fill any sort of fruit servings that my body needed.
I can eat grapes after grapes until my stomach scream and pulls and wrings itself from the inside out.
I feel like I cannot get enough Neopolitan Ice Cream. Ever.
I'm sure that you can ask Scott for addition food cravings that I've had during the first trimester, even though he would probably comment that it IS a little weird that I like to eat tablespoonfuls of peanut butter and jelly together. But then I would just hit his arm and remind him that, helloooo!, I did that BEFORE this baby took over my body.
