It's always interesting when Connor comes to visit for our week with him. It always seems like he's developed something new to say, or he's matured a little more, or he's just funnier.

Last night, we were all sitting on the couch. I was reading a book, and Connor was watching Scott play a video game. One where he has to build an army-type camp to withstand enemy attacks.

All of a sudden, Connor exclaimed, "That is SO freaking awesome, Dad."

I had to look up from my book and smile at this excited four-year old. Is he going on 14 years already?
