The Word of the Day: "Please"

Wedding planning is going. I just received my dress in the mail from China. It's beautiful and it fits perfectly! Ebay can work, even for wedding dresses.

Money is tight, stress is high. Our plan is to sell the house in the Fall in order to get bills paid down and debt to family paid off. Scott is trying to find some form of employment that will ensure that we won't have to decide which type of place to move to: a large-size refrigerator box, or the back hatch portion of my car. I'm kidding. Dad, don't send money.

Our office is moving this week to a new building. I get my first window office ever! It only took 7 years (and 3 different offices) of working for my company to get it, and I'm stoked! Now to choose which type of plant to buy for the new spread...

Scott's mom is visiting this week and it's been pleasant. We ate dinner outside last night, just Scott, Connor, Frida and myself. I leave you with a portion of our conversation:

Me: "Connor, can you take a bite of your Dino-Nuggets please?"

Connor (looking unenthused, and not moving ANY closer to his plate of food: "I will."

Me: "Connor, I'm serious. You need to take a bite."

Scott: "Come on, Connor. Eat your food.... 1.... 2....3....--"

Connor: "I will!"

As he sits there, we keep counting. So, he nibbles on his food to satisfy our request.

Me: "Thank you. We just want you to eat your food and be strong!"

Connor: "Can you guys stop talking to me, please?"

At least he said 'please.'
