First Post

This is my first post on my new blog website. I had an old blog, but that one was created and updated based on entries of my single/dating life...

Since I've met my true Life-Match and will be spending my entire life with him, I feel like a new blog is in order.

My new Life-Love is Scott. And he truly is my match in so many ways. If you followed my old blog, you probably read about him. I didn't really believe people when they said that the moment you actually meet that special person, you just KNOW. I mean, come on. You just KNOW? That sounds bizarre. But as it turns out, it's true. I was wrong. It's probably the first time EVER that I was wrong in my life. But I digress...

Anyway, this blog is the story of my new, wonderful, content life...

Since I've blogged last, I've moved into Scott's house with him. Before I moved in, he did, however, replaced the disgusting blue stained carpet with wood and tile, he has redone the walls, and he has given me a master bath to have my privacy.

Keep in mind that Scott comes with a 4-year old boy, Connor, who lives with him 50% of the time . (One week with the mom, the next with Scott... trading off.) He also has a roommate who lives with him during the work week, Kevin, who works for Scott helping with drywall stuff.

This is obviously hard to get used to. I moved into THE ULTIMATE BACHELOR PAD. But Scott knew what I was compromising and did a wonderful job of sprucing up the place for me to move into.

Oh, and one other item: Scott had a two-year old Jack Russell dog named Maggie that took to me as "her human". We joke, because before I moved in, I thanked him for "giving" me his dog. She follows me around, she cuddles with me, she absolutely trusts me above all. And we don't know why, but I do know that I love it so much! She is my dog now, in the most part.

I've lived with Scott a month and it's been so wonderful. Not much has stressed us out. I DID, however, find another Jack Russell dog from the Jack Russell Rescue. He was an immediate fit into our little family. So, now we have little Rosco running around, keeping Maggie and all of us company.

This is the start of my new blog. One that will keep family and close friends in touch with our updates, new comings, and funny quirks that happen to us daily.

May you maintain a sense of humor as you explore this blog...
